Banner Check terms of use
Draft terms for using Banner Check’s local HTML5 validator and public MCP tools.
Draft for review — not yet effective. Prepared October 6, 2026.
Service and provider
Banner Check is provided by Viewst as a free HTML5 banner preflight tool. No Banner Check account or payment is required. These draft terms cover bannercheck.org and the Banner Check MCP integration; the final legal entity, effective date and governing provisions require Viewst’s review.
Your files and responsible use
Use files you are entitled to process. You retain rights in your creative contents; local validation does not require uploading or granting Viewst rights to those contents. Do not send confidential creatives or credentials to support. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access or interfere with other users.
The ChatGPT widget checks files without running their scripts. The website’s optional preview can execute a creative in a sandbox and make external requests. Review untrusted files carefully before previewing them.
Limits of validation
Validation checks packaged rules and static patterns. It can miss defects, and ad-network requirements may change. You are responsible for verifying current requirements, rights and destination behavior before publishing. A passing report does not guarantee acceptance, delivery, performance or compliance. Banner Check does not publish ads or access your advertising accounts.
ChatGPT and browser integrations
The remote MCP tools provide public rules and a local-processing interface. Conversation attachments cannot be validated by the Banner Check server. You choose whether to share a compact result with ChatGPT; the host’s own terms and policies also apply. Native WebMCP support depends on your browser and remains optional.
Availability and questions
Features and packaged rules may change. No uptime or response-time commitment is offered by this draft. Contact hello@viewst.com for support or questions about these terms. Viewst must review the final warranty, liability, jurisdiction and other required legal provisions before publishing effective terms.
